Helios Resources was formed to fill a niche that exists in the energy and resource industry today. With over 19 years of diversified experience in the energy and resource conservation industry, our founder and principal Andrew Holden was employed for many years by a large Energy Services Company (ESCO). During that time, Holden was constantly searching for quality subcontracted energy engineers and construction managers, knowing that if he could have located a company like Helios Resources he could have developed and built even more quality energy projects with impressive results to the bottom line.
During those 19 years, Holden has also seen facilities get into some bad performance contracts - maybe this was not the correct vehicle to achieve their goals, or maybe the performance contractor did not deliver as promised. Either way, there is a need for experts in the field who understand the energy services industry and the performance contracting industry both from the ESCO's point of view, and from the customer's point of view.
Our unique position means that we can effectively develop great projects for energy services companies that meet the exact need of their customers. And we can advise and guide end users while they procure an energy services agreement, while keeping the needs of both parties in mind during negotiations.
